Do you need a Schengen Visa or a national Visa (visas requiring approval for stays in Germany for more than three months, family reunification, au pair stays, studies etc.) ?
Your application must be made in person at the German Embassy in Dakar. Please make sure to follow the information on the homepage of the Embassy Dakar regarding the online booking of an appointment and the documents to be submitted.

Note on barrier-free access
The Embassy does its best to support people with disabilities and makes every effort to facilitate access within the building confines. However, the present premises of the Embassy are not barrier-free. The doors do not have automatic openers; the upper floors are accessible only via stairs. There are no washrooms accessible by wheelchairs within the Embassy building. If you need assistance please contact us before your visit. Thank you.
